The Hilleberg Saitaris is an exceptionally strong four‑person dome tent for groups who need maximum space, security and reliable performance in harsh UK conditions and extreme environments worldwide.

Hilleberg's Black Label range, this tent is designed to handle any terrain or weather conditions, from the mildest to the most demanding.
Inside Comfort
The inner tent provides a very large, square living area with ample room for four occupants and their gear. With a generous 125 cm inner height, the Saitaris is comfortable to sit up, change and manage camp life during long storms or extended base‑camp stays. The layout works equally well for expedition use and more leisurely trips where comfort and storage matter.
Outside Performance
Built to Hilleberg Black Label standards, the Saitaris uses Kerlon 1800 outer fabric and robust 10 mm poles to deliver outstanding strength and durability. The self‑supporting dome design features multiple pole crossing points, giving excellent stability in high winds and very strong snow‑load handling. The outer tent extends fully to the ground, and mesh areas are backed by adjustable fabric panels to control ventilation and warmth in severe conditions. Two vestibules, including one extended GT‑style vestibule, provide excellent protected storage for gear‑heavy trips.
Setup
Despite its size and strength, the Saitaris is straightforward to pitch. The freestanding dome structure requires only the vestibules to be pegged initially, making it practical on snow, rock or uneven ground. An innovative combination of full sleeves, partial sleeves and clips speeds up pitching while keeping poles secure. Inner and outer tents are linked but separable and pitch together to help keep the inner dry during setup.

Footprint can be purchased to help protect the tent’s floor from abrasion and to keep ground moisture from rising in the vestibule.
For warm-weather use, an optional Pole Holder Set allows the inner tent to be pitched on its own by attaching securely to the inner’s corners – ideal when a flysheet isn’t needed.

Red Label tents are Hilleberg's versatile all-season range, offering an excellent balance of strength, weight and comfort. For many people, they provide the ideal combination of durability and packability for year-round trekking in a wide variety of conditions.
Black Label tents are Hilleberg's strongest and most robust designs, built for demanding environments, prolonged use and severe weather. They prioritise maximum strength and durability where reliability is critical.
