An ex display tent is one that has been pitched for display in one of our retail stores or at a public tent event, such as an outdoor tent show. These tents are not second-hand or heavily used, and they’ve often only been set up once or twice. In most cases, they’ve been set up on grass or carpet for short periods, allowing customers to walk through and explore their features. Each tent is carefully checked before being listed, and we make note of any marks, missing parts, or wear, so you know exactly what you’re getting.
Can I return an ex display or demo item?
Our returns policy is slightly different for our demo tents and ex display camping equipment. Payment secures the item, and you’ll be able to inspect it in-store before taking it away. If you change your mind after viewing, you’ll get a full refund. These items may show signs of use and could be missing some accessories, but they’re fully functional and checked for major faults. A one year guarantee applies from the date of purchase, excluding any wear or imperfections present at collection.
Why can’t demo tents be delivered?
Because these demo tents have been opened and are individual, we’re unable to ship them. Many come without original packaging or may include specific notes or parts that need to be handed over in person. Collecting in-store also gives you a chance to ask questions, inspect your tent and ensure you’re happy before taking it home.
