The Hilleberg Nallo 3 GT is a lightweight, all-season tunnel tent for two to three people who want dependable weather protection and a large sheltered living space for exposed conditions without taking on unnecessary weight for trips anywhere in the world.
Part of Hilleberg's
Red Label range, these tents are designed for both short and longer trips in generally less demanding conditions in all seasons.
Inside Comfort
The inner tent provides generous room for three occupants and their gear, with a 105 cm inner height that allows comfortable sitting and easier day-to-day living. Two person parties will find the space especially comfortable, while families with young children or users travelling with a dog benefit from the extra room without a big weight penalty.
Outside Performance
Designed for genuine all-season use, the outer tent extends fully to the ground to reduce draughts and protect against wind, rain and spindrift. Adjustable fabric panels back the mesh areas so ventilation and warmth can be balanced as conditions change. Kerlon 1200 outer fabric combined with 9 mm poles delivers impressive strength for such a lightweight tent, giving confidence in exposed UK camps. The extended GT vestibule adds a substantial sheltered area for storage and foul-weather living.
Setup
The tunnel construction offers an excellent space-to-weight ratio and a compact footprint, ideal for mobile journeys. Inner and outer tents are linked but separable, and pitch together to help keep the inner dry during set up. Continuous pole sleeves and a simple pole tensioning system allow fast, stable pitching with as few as four pegs. A single entrance with an extended vestibule keeps access straightforward while maximising usable covered space. The lower section of the rear outer wall can be rolled up to increase airflow when conditions allow.
Optional Additions - Available SeparatelyFor added protection, an additional tough
Footprint can be purchased to help protect the tent’s floor from abrasion and to keep ground moisture from rising in the vestibule.

Understanding the Hilleberg Range
Hilleberg are widely regarded as one of the world's leading tent manufacturers, trusted by everyone from first-time backpackers to experienced mountaineers, expedition teams and outdoor professionals. Designed and developed in Sweden, Hilleberg tents have been used on every continent and have earned a reputation for exceptional reliability, innovative Kerlon fabrics and meticulous attention to detail.
One of the biggest misconceptions about Hilleberg is that the most expensive or strongest tent is automatically the best choice. In reality, every Hilleberg tent is designed for a specific purpose, balancing weight, strength, ventilation and living space to suit different environments and styles of adventure.
For example, while a Black Label tent offers outstanding strength for demanding conditions, it may not be the ideal choice for a lightweight summer trek or an extended trip in warmer climates. Likewise, a lightweight Yellow Label tent is perfect for many adventures but isn't designed for severe winter conditions. Choosing the right Hilleberg is about finding the tent that best matches where you'll go, the weather you'll encounter and how you like to travel.
That's why understanding Hilleberg's colour label system is so important.
Designed for snow-free conditions and warmer climates, Yellow Label tents are Hilleberg's lightest range. They prioritise low weight and excellent ventilation, making them ideal for summer backpacking, bikepacking, long-distance trails and lightweight trekking.
Red Label tents are Hilleberg's versatile all-season range, offering an excellent balance of strength, weight and comfort. For many people, they provide the ideal combination of durability and packability for year-round trekking in a wide variety of conditions.
Black Label tents are Hilleberg's strongest and most robust designs, built for demanding environments, prolonged use and severe weather. They prioritise maximum strength and durability where reliability is critical.
If you're unsure which Hilleberg is right for you, our Hilleberg specialists can help. Rather than recommending the most expensive model, we'll ask about the trips you have planned, the conditions you'll encounter and the features that matter most, helping you choose the tent that's best suited to your adventures.
