Part of Hilleberg's Red Label range. These tents are designed for both short and longer trips in generally less demanding conditions in all seasons, such as less exposed mountain terrain and forests in both winter and summer. Their emphasis on lighter weight makes them less than ideal for harsh environments and extended adventures in demanding conditions, however they are quite capable of withstanding heavy storm conditions.
The Nallo 2 is well-known for its light weight and remarkable strength. It's this strength that makes these tents the first choice for anyone needing the lightest weight tent that still offer all-season, all weather functionality. Designed for anyone who want to get more out of carrying less, these tents are ideal for hikers, wilderness photographers, climbers, hunters and other adventurers.
The tunnel construction offers maximum of space to weight ratio and is the ideal choice for mobile journeys for 2 occupants. The design requires only four pegs for quick pitching and the continuous pole sleeve and tensioner system makes this tent quick to pitch, take down and remarkably stable. The outer tent walls extend to the ground and the mesh areas are covered by zipper adjustable, fabric panels for all season comfort.
A single entrance and vestibule afford easy access and plenty of storage space, but keep the weight very low and the lower portion of the rear outer wall can be rolled up for greater venting options. Two integrated stowage pockets help to keep you organised, and the high bathtub floor keeps out groundwater. A large, hooded vent is integrated into the top of the door, and is adjustable from inside the vestibule.
The outer tent entrance can be accessed from either front of side panels, the full no-see-um mesh on the inner tent door is covered by a zipper adjustable, fabric panel for all-season comfort and the inside mesh vent at the rear is covered by an adjustable, zipper-closure fabric panel. Looped guy lines affixed to twin attachments on each side of each pole increase stability in poor conditions.
The Kerlon 1200 flysheet is a 30D high tenacity ripstop nylon fabric; with a tear strength of 12kg, it provides remarkable strength at a very light weight.
For added protection, an additional tough Footprint can be purchased to help protect the tent’s floor from abrasion and to keep ground moisture from rising in the vestibule.
