The Hilleberg Anaris is a very lightweight, three-season ridge tent for trekking pole users who want excellent ventilation, twin entrances, and impressive space in warm-weather conditions around the world.
Part of
Hilleberg's Yellow Label range, these tents are primarily designed to be lightweight and intended for use in warmer climates and in snow-free conditions.
Inside Comfort
The sleeping area is arranged parallel to the vestibules, creating generous usable width for two people and making the Anaris feel unusually roomy for its weight. Each occupant has their own entrance and vestibule, which makes access simple and keeps personal kit organised. For solo users, the internal space feels expansive and comfortable, offering a real sense of luxury at a very low carry weight.
Outside Performance
Designed specifically for warm and snow‑free conditions, the outer tent uses Kerlon 1000 fabric to balance low weight with reliable weather protection. The walls are cut to sit slightly above the ground and use curved patterning along the lower edges, allowing constant airflow without sacrificing shelter. Both vestibule doors and either outer wall can be rolled fully away, while the full mesh inner doors and walls maximise ventilation during hot or humid conditions.
Setup
The Anaris is pitched using two trekking poles set to the correct height, creating a simple and efficient ridge structure. It can also be erected by suspending the ridge ends if poles are not used. Inner and outer tents are linked but separable, allowing them to pitch together or independently. The outer tent can also be used on its own as a minimalist shelter, offering further versatility for lighter or more flexible trips.
Optional Additions - Available SeparatelyFor added protection, an additional tough
Footprint can be purchased to help protect the tent’s floor from abrasion and to keep ground moisture from rising in the vestibule.

Understanding the Hilleberg Range
Hilleberg are widely regarded as one of the world's leading tent manufacturers, trusted by everyone from first-time backpackers to experienced mountaineers, expedition teams and outdoor professionals. Designed and developed in Sweden, Hilleberg tents have been used on every continent and have earned a reputation for exceptional reliability, innovative Kerlon fabrics and meticulous attention to detail.
One of the biggest misconceptions about Hilleberg is that the most expensive or strongest tent is automatically the best choice. In reality, every Hilleberg tent is designed for a specific purpose, balancing weight, strength, ventilation and living space to suit different environments and styles of adventure.
For example, while a Black Label tent offers outstanding strength for demanding conditions, it may not be the ideal choice for a lightweight summer trek or an extended trip in warmer climates. Likewise, a lightweight Yellow Label tent is perfect for many adventures but isn't designed for severe winter conditions. Choosing the right Hilleberg is about finding the tent that best matches where you'll go, the weather you'll encounter and how you like to travel.
That's why understanding Hilleberg's colour label system is so important.
Designed for snow-free conditions and warmer climates, Yellow Label tents are Hilleberg's lightest range. They prioritise low weight and excellent ventilation, making them ideal for summer backpacking, bikepacking, long-distance trails and lightweight trekking.
Red Label tents are Hilleberg's versatile all-season range, offering an excellent balance of strength, weight and comfort. For many people, they provide the ideal combination of durability and packability for year-round trekking in a wide variety of conditions.
Black Label tents are Hilleberg's strongest and most robust designs, built for demanding environments, prolonged use and severe weather. They prioritise maximum strength and durability where reliability is critical.
If you're unsure which Hilleberg is right for you, our Hilleberg specialists can help. Rather than recommending the most expensive model, we'll ask about the trips you have planned, the conditions you'll encounter and the features that matter most, helping you choose the tent that's best suited to your adventures.
