We love Montane! Since taking them on last year, they’ve more than proven to us that their passion for the outdoors and the products they design to seamlessly integrate within it is top-notch. This new season marks another milestone in their eco plan by being their most eco-friendly to date. Recycled materials play a key part in their SS22 range which thanks to modern technologies, perform as well as virgin fabrics whilst causing far less impact on the environment vital for outdoor escapes and exploration.
We’re going to take this time to look through some of their fantastic items and show you some highlights from what we have in stock, ready for this season’s adventures.
But first… Who are Montane?
Montane has become synonymous with lightweight and breathable clothing and equipment. For over 25 years they’ve worked closely with serious mountain professionals working in hostile conditions across the globe as a proving ground for garment design. This range is certainly ready to help ease you back into the longer day walks we’ve been missing for so long. Montane Azote 32 Pack
The Montane Azote 32 is a functional, go-anywhere, do-anything pack for the core outdoor user on long mountain days or minimalist overnight adventures.
Boasting an environmental foundation, the tough-wearing RAPTOR Eco 100 denier Robic Nylon main fabric features 78% recycled content and the CONTACT Air Mesh Eco shoulder straps also feature 35% recycled content.
Fully adjustable, the size adjustable ZephyrAD back system features ventilation channels to keep you cool and articulated hip fins and shoulder straps with a form-fitting design provide the perfect fit.
Built to perform, the main compartments is finished off with an extendable, and removable lid that features its own external and internal pockets. Zippered hip fin pockets, side wand pockets and front stretch pockets keeps your essentials organised. Finished off with adjustable pole and axe attachment points.
The external bladder sleeve helps you to stay hydrated on the go and side compression straps secure the load.
Montane Mens Terra Route Pant
The Montane Men’s Terra Route Trousers are durable, water resistant and abrasion resistant created using tough, stretchy and wind-resistant GRANITE STRETCH fabric with a PFC-free DWR. Making them perfect for a range of outdoor activities including walking and trekking offering excellent levels of comfort and freedom of movement. Terra Route trousers are offered in a variety of lengths (short, regular and long) with articulated knees for freedom of movement and feature a fleece lined waistband with press stud, button and belt loops and removable belt. There is a single thigh pocket and zipped security pocket. The Terra Route Pant’s also includes a volume adjuster to accommodate walking boots if required. A truly versatile pair of softshell trousers offering windproof and water resistance ideal for ever changing conditions in the mountains.
Montane Womens Alpine Spirit
The Montane Alpine Spirit Waterproof Jacket is the most durable and breathable waterproof shell designed with extreme conditions in mind.
With adjustable hem and cuffs and helmet compatible it’s an ideal Mountain waterproof to provide protection in difficult conditions. Ideal for hiking and mountaineering when you need waterproof protection when it really matters.

Montane Mens Prism Jacket
The Prism Jacket is an insulated jacket that’s been a firm favourite since 2008. There has been many iterations as the design team has continued to improve fit and introduce technical refinements. The current version uses weather-resistant PERTEX® QUANTUM, 100% recycled 40g/m2 PrimaLoft® Silver insulation, and upgraded with a lightweight nylon lining; the Prism Jacket has a climbing helmet hood and good pocket options. It packs down into its hand pocket so it’s small enough to be kept in a day pack for a warm, windproof weather-resistant layer that’s ready for almost any weather change.
Montane Womens Terra Libra Pant
Featuring a great fit, these trousers are ideal for trekking and traveling. The GRANITE STRETCH material is stretchy, lightweight, and packable making these trousers comfortable to wear, whatever the activity. An addition of a durable water-repellent finish helps to shed light rain.
The microfleece-lined waistband is paired with a zipped fly and button closure and press-stud ankle adjustments to accommodate all types of boots. Two mesh-lined hand pockets, a zipped inner security pocket, and a zipped rear pocket keep your essentials organised.
Montane Mens Protium Hoodie
Lightweight layering piece that manages moisture, and regulates heat. The THERMO GRID fleece manages moisture and regulates heat effectively, while the brushed backer is soft against the skin. A snug fit hood is designed to sit comfortably under a helmet and low profile flatlocked seams sit comfortably against the skin. Low-profile hem and cuffs sit comfortably under layers, and an external zippered chest pocket keeps small essentials safe.

Classic, all-season, all-mountain technical baselayer. The 100% recycled APEX ECO fabric perfectly balances warmth, wicking and breathability and is finished with POLYGIENE® permanent odour control for multi-day freshness.
Polygiene Stay Fresh Technology – is an active odour control technology for the treatment of high-performance materials. Engineered to give wearers fresh-all-day confidence, Polygiene is perfect for active people who demand natural, long-lasting odour protection. The active ingredient is a silver salt, which is a highly effective, naturally occurring antimicrobial agent. Sweat itself is odourless, but it creates an environment for bacteria to thrive. Polygiene odour control treatment reduces odour-causing bacteria by more than 90%. This effect lasts for the life of the garment and keeps clothing fresh. Active only on the fabric surface, Polygiene does not interfere with the natural bacteria on the skin.
