Come join us for the Rab Run Club event at Taunton Leisure. This special evening includes an 8km social-paced trail run led by Rab athlete Ben James, starting from our Exeter store. After the run, enjoy light refreshments and an informal Q&A session with Ben, where he’ll share tips, insights, and stories from his recent adventures. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the local running community, learn from an experienced ultra runner, and test out some of Rab’s latest running kit.
Plus the chance to win a Rab Veil XP 20
Ben James is a Rab athlete specialising in Ultra Marathon and Arctic Expedition.
He began his outdoor experiences in the woods and moors of Dartmoor before moving onto climbing and
mountaineering.
He progressed deeper into the world of physical challenges and has since
completed the Traverse of Iceland, a 2 week expedition to Svalbard and most recently, a science and photography expedition to Baffin Island in April 2025. He is also an accomplished Ultra
Marathon Runner with a top 10 finish in this year’s Arc of Attrition and 1st place at last years Dartmoor in a Day Ultra to name his most recent wins.

You will have the chance to try out the Rab Veil 1 and Veil 6 packs on the night
The Event

On the night, all attendees will be in with a chance to win a Veil XP 20!

When participating in our run night, you’re agreeing to our simple terms:
- Personal Responsibility: Everyone is responsible for their own actions. Our team is here to guide you throughout the event, but they are not responsible for your personal conduct or safety.
- Respectful Behaviour: Always behave respectfully towards other participants and the general public.
- Mindfulness of Other Users: Be extra mindful of others using the trails, roads, and paths who are not part of the event.
- Route: The run starts and ends at our Fore Street store, taking in as much trail as possible within the ~8km loop. We’ll share the route with all participants ahead of the event.
- Event Purpose: This run is aimed at connecting keen adventure and trail runners, meeting a Rab run athlete, testing out a Rab run pack if you wish, and enjoying a post-run chat over coffee, cake, or beer.
- Photography: We will be sharing content from the run on our social channels, so please expect some photography on the night.
