It takes 23 pairs of hands to make a Tilley hat, a precise and practiced process. Each Tilley hat is designed and made so that it can do the following – stay on in the wind thanks to its good fit a drawstring chin strap, be unsinkable thanks to lightweight materials and a removable foam pad on the roof of the hat, last indefinitely thanks to tough materials and an excellent quality build, protect its wearer from the elements thanks to water-resistant treatments and again… excellent materials, and lastly, the hat still needs to look good. We believe that with these beautiful materials and features all thrown in and with such a highly regarded legacy, they certainly look awesome.
