Taunton Leisure has been a leading member of the outdoor industry for over thirty-five years, providing excellent customer service and product advice. We are now looking for both part-time and weekend staff to work as part of our successful and dynamic team.
We like to employ staff that are committed to outdoor activities. On our staff we have climbers, walkers, avid travellers, skiers, paddlers and lots more.
You'll need lots of enthusiasm, great people skills and confidence to talk to customers about their activities and the equipment they might need across a range of outdoor disciplines.
We don't expect you to know all the areas, but full training will be given and over the probationary period of three months you will acquire most of the key knowledge areas and skills. All stores have weekly training sessions, manufacturer training clinics as well as the occasional day out 'on the hill'.
