You have the option to add an inner to the Tentipi tents that we carry and this will cover the full area of the tent with Teflon treated Ripstop polyamide fabric attached to a sturdy groundsheet.
The groundsheet features a zip running away from the door so it can be pulled back to prevent water settling if the door is open during inclement conditions.
The centre of the groundsheet also has the same zip features so the centre of the sheet can effectively be pulled back to facilitate a Firebox or Heat Pal for cooking and heating.
The inner tent also has mosquito net panels to the door, lower vent areas and roof vent which can close around the centre pole to keep insects out.
Adding the inner tent could reduce the effect of condensation on the inside of the tent adding a cosy feel to the inner in cooler conditions and giving greater protection from unwanted insects.
Although the inner tents will fit both lightweight and Cotpol T4 models, they are more commonly used with the lightweight fabric flysheets where condensation may be more of an issue than with the Cotpol T4 fabric.
Once attached the inner tent can be left in place with no need to detach for setting up and taking down.
