Two A-frames linked by a ridge pole and a sturdy zip-in hooped porch pole provides weather-beating stability. The large porch features eaves the spread guyline loading while protecting the door zip from the water run-off and a mesh panel behind the main door enhances insect free ventilation on hot days.
With a zip-in groundsheet, it gives the option to use the flysheet as a stand alone when a quick shelter is needed or simple unzip in the porch to create a wet area.
The HydroTex Polycotton is a durable tight-weave fabric with a water repellent treatment that assists rain run off on the tent walls. In heavy rain the fibres swell to form a waterproof seal and the UV-inhibitor treatment helps the fabric to last for years with care. The superb breathable fabric maintains the tent's micro-climate by eliminating condensation and keeping the internal temperature cool in the summer and warm when the temperatures fall.
