Part of Robens' Outback Range, the Prospector Shack captures the old pioneering spirit through retro good looks.
Capturing an old-time camping spirit, the Prospector Shack uses a strong steel A-frame in a retro design to enhance performance. A zip-open section of the groundsheet allows for safe stove placement, and compliments the stovepipe port for chimney access. Both features follow a well thought out design, maintaining full protection from the elements.
Plenty of ventilation can be accessed via zip-open windows running around the top of the tent, with full insect mesh to keep bugs out. Windows are kept protected from rain run-off by the valance extending from the roof section, spanning the outskirts of the tent.
The HydroTex Polycotton is a durable tight-weave fabric with a water repellent treatment that assists rain run off on the tent walls. In heavy rain the fibres swell to form a waterproof seal and the UV-inhibitor treatment helps the fabric to last for years with care. The superb breathable fabric maintains the tent's micro-climate by eliminating condensation and keeping the internal temperature cool in the summer and warm when the temperatures fall.
For added comfort, an additional Footprint can be pitched first to help you pitch your tent in the correct spot first time and prevent the underside getting dirty or wet, or an optional three person half inner (S) and six person full inner (L) provides added privacy and draught protection. Please note you can't use the stove feature with the full inner (L).
If you require extra living space, the Prospector Tarp attaches to your tent for al fresco dining or a place to relax and play when the weather turns grey.
