Easy and convenient returns with CollectPlus

For items under 60 x 50 x 50cm and 10kg, you can use the Collect Plus service by buying and printing your label off online and dropping your package off at a local store

Collect Plus Easy Returns

All goods must be in a new and unused condition together with all packaging, labels and tags together with a copy of your original receipt within 30 days. 

  • If you wish to return an item, please complete the returns form on the bottom of your delivery note or click here for a replacement and return it to us within 30 days.

  • We advise customers to return a product in the original parcel packaging to insure that the product is not damaged on its return journey.

Sorry, we don't currently offer free returns of any goods back to us.

  • You can drop your return items in to any Taunton Leisure store if you prefer. The return will then be sent to our online department and a refund processed within 3 working days. 

Faulty Items

Firstly, we apologise if something you have bought from us is not performing as expected. Here's how we can sort it out -

  • In the first instance please contact customer services by phone or email (contact details below) to let us know and we will discuss with you the best method to resolve it as quickly and efficiently as possible.

  • If your product is faulty and requires sending back to us then we will send you a pre-paid Royal Mail returns label - simply attach to the parcel and drop into your local Post Office. For larger heavier orders like tents & camping furniture etc we can arrange for courier collection if required.

Important - Please contact us for a pre paid returns label before sending a faulty item back as we are unable to refund your return postage costs unless you have done so.

Tents, awnings, canopies & extensions

Please note that once a tent, awning, canopy or extension has been pitched outside we are unable to accept it back under the 30 day return policy as it not in a new and unused condition. If you have removed a tent from its bag and pitched it inside this still technically represents a 'used' item, as it is in not new condition.

Please check the tent dimensions, floor plans and details carefully or if you are unsure please visit one of our stores or shows to view before purchase.

Footwear

Please note in the case of footwear returns please use outer packaging to send the product back. Any shoe boxes defaced by parcel tape, stamps, writing or our returns address etc on will not be accepted and will be returned back to you.

Climbing Equipment

Safety equipment (climbing gear such as, but not restricted to, harnesses, helmets, ropes, hardware & slings) must be returned in brand new and un-used condition as per our returns. All packaging including tags and instruction manuals must be present, otherwise we will not be able to accept your return. This is for your own safety and the safety of others.

Underwear

For hygiene reasons we are unable to offer returns on briefs, boxers and other underwear returned to us as we are unable to resell these to other customers.

Please check the size-chart listed on the product page carefully before ordering underwear, if you require any more detailed sizing assistance then please get in touch and will be happy to measure etc as you require.

Other Notable Points

The returns policy excludes CD/DVD disks, memory cards & data products or any electronic products once registered or activated and for hygiene reasons, underwear such as briefs / boxers / boy shorts.  Please email us for more details before purchase if you are unsure.

Store Returns Policy

  • You have 28 days in which to return your order (NOTE - 14 days for Sale items)

If the product you buy is unsuitable then please return the item within 28 days (14 for sale items) of purchase with your receipt and we will be happy to offer a refund or exchange, provided the item is returned in a perfect unused condition with all relevant packaging and tags.

Some products are excluded from this policy – items specially ordered for you, CD/DVD disks, memory cards & data products any electronic products once registered or activated and for hygiene reasons underwear such as briefs / boxers / boy shorts. Ask staff for more details before purchase if you are unsure.

This offer does not extend to personal protective equipment such as, but not limited to, ropes, harnesses, protection and other climbing equipment. These are safety items covered by PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) legislation that requires us to guarantee the quality, condition, storage and use of any product we sell.

Once a safety product purchased has left the store we are unable to satisfy these criteria and therefore no returns are permitted. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and would suggest purchase of Gift Vouchers as an alternative.

Consumer Contracts Regulations - effective 13th June 2014 - UK Only

(Formally known as Distance Selling Regulations)

You have a right to cancel your order within a fourteen working day cooling off period following the day after the date of delivery for any unused item purchased through the website under the distance selling regulations for refund. This does not apply to any perishable goods, unsealed software or item personalised or made to your specification.

To cancel any item, you can e-mail or write to us with your details and order number. You must take reasonable care of the items, retain all original packaging and must not use them. All goods are returned at your own expense unless the item is deemed faulty or incorrect.

You will receive a refund within fourteen days of your notice to cancel. We advise customers to return a product with the original packaging to insure that the product is not damaged on its return journey.
