Part of Outwell's Privilege Collection, the Mallwood 7 features a extra bedroom in the front zone which can be used for storage or taken down for a larger area.
The Premier Bedrooms offer generous floor space, mains cable entry points to power lights or gadgets and darkened roof panel and sides to reduce light penetration and improve sleep quality by allowing you to sleep longer, have that lie-in or prevent young campers waking up at sunrise. The 360° Access System bedroom door has 4 zips to allow you to open the door in multiple ways for open-air sleeping experience or pack away neatly into a pocket for hazard-free access and extended inner space.
Two toggled bedroom dividers between the varying bedrooms offer the option to create one large bedroom, a bedroom and storage or three separate bedroom. A third additional bedroom can be pitched in the front zone with its own full access to the living area. Whether it is for guests or storage, it can also be removed to increase living space. Rather than the industry standard of 60cm width per person for sleeping compartments, Outwell Sleep Comfort allows 70-80cm for more freedom and suggest that 6 people can settle down comfortably for a great night's sleep.
New for 2020, Outwell have introduced a HookTrack System that enables campers to safely and easily hang lighting and other items in their tents. It consists of strategically placed durable, sturdy transparent piping and 10 reliable clip hooks. Offering flexible positioning options, this system enables wires for lighting and other electrical devices to be routed securely out of the way and allows lights to be positioned where needed. Combined with the Outwell Tent Hanging System, horizontal lines can be rigged up to hang light items such as tea towels. With a maximum load of 1.5kg, this system adds a new dimension in tent living.
The Outwell Wind Stabiliser System creates a direct attachment point between the outer, pole and peg for market-leading and reliable security in gale-force, gusting winds. The Duratec 12.5mm fibreglass poles are made from a fibreglass-blend of light, flexible materials that offer exceptional strength and rigidity while reducing pack size and weight.
Made from Outtex® 4000 Select, the green flysheet with its light, warm-toned roof to create a bright, cheerful internal ambience. This hard-wearing, quality polyester fabric is ideal for regular general camping and has a PU-coating that provides a 4,000mm hydrostatic head.
The large, D-shaped front door enables you to enjoy close-to-nature experiences by providing a veranda feel and unhampered access to the outside. While enhancing the tent's light, airy ambience, a second double zipped mesh door provides insect-free ventilation without compromising on view, comfort and safety.
The three zones provide a wet room at the front for storage, or dining in the shade while enjoying the outside, a separate dry living room with additional side entry door and a bedroom making this tent perfect for active campers. Many large tinted windows on the sides and front not only provide panoramic views but brings the outside in and toggle up curtains on the inside of the tent give much needed privacy.
Mesh backed ventilation panels under the large windows and at the rear of the tent (which can be zipped shut) helps to regulate internal temperature, provide a fresh airflow and remove moisture which accumulates as you sleep, boil that kettle or due to the weather.
Comfort isn't compromised with the sealed-in groundsheet designed to keep out draughts, insects, dirt and water from the tent and cable entry points enables secure access to power without compromising on safety.
