Details

The Elixir 2 is ideal for two, or for a solo camper who is looking for a more generous accommodation.

Offering true-to-size capacity for two, the Elixir 2 features two large, StayDry doors with glow in the dark zippers to make them easy to find at night plus two generous vestibules that offer enough room for storing gear.

The inner tent balances breathable mesh and solid fabric panels which offers ventilation, warmth and privacy. Designed to fit two mats, a built-in gear lofts keeps all your essentials in one place and within reach.

The unique pole geometry with laser-etched, directional pole-end grommets optimises headroom and the colour-coded poles, clips and webbing make for fast and easy set up. The freestanding design means that the inner can be used alone and doesn't require pegging, making it ideal for use in warmer climates or combine with the rainfly that features adaptable doors so you don't have to miss out on the views.

This tent also comes with its own footprint that allows for a fast setup with just the rainfly or it can be combined with the inner for extra protection from the ground.

Product Questions

Does this have a footprint, and if so, how much does it weigh and cost? Does the tent have 2 doors or just one? Thanks

The Elixir 2 is supplied with a footprint which sits under the inner tent groundsheet only and is constructed from 70D Taffeta nylon and weighs a few ounces. The flysheet has two doors.

Good middle ground tent
Based on one weeks kayak camping I highly rated this tent, it seems to hit a sweet spot for weight, cost and internal volume. It stood up to a Force 7 on the Scillies and also stayed relatively cool on a couple of hot nights, and dry for the single decent storm we had. Pitching is very easy, with the main structure held by just four pegs. Space wise it was brilliant for one with one porch crammed with dry bags and kayaking gear, while the other one was used to get in and out and to store a few ready to hand items. The glow in the dark zip pulls do indeed glow in the dark, and the twin pockets in the roof, although rather small are great for stashing the odd bits and pieces. It came down and went back in the bag relatively easily and was light and compact so easy to fit in a kit bag. Overall, very impressed given the reasonable price and just right for my intended purpose. Main highlight for Me was the relatively large internal volume and head room which made getting dressed a doddle.Only down side - the supplies pegs are very light weight but a couple have bent already, and the tent has a slight crown In the roof which holds a little water, I’ll try an eliminate that the next time I put it up but suspect it’s part of the design.
