The hybrid tunnel dome shape utilises the usable roominess of a tunnel and the static strength of a dome. The boxy inner with near vertical walls offers plenty of room for 2 occupants and their gear and the four pole structure boats five crossing points for exceptional strength and outstanding snow-loading handling capability. This self-supporting dome design also only required the vestibules to be pegged, and the straight forwards short sleeve and clip pole system makes for quick, easy set up.
Dual entrances and vestibules ensure that one door can always be situated out of the wind and offer flexible entry/exit and storage options. The adjustable roof vent can be closed with a snow-proof panel, and is accessible from inside the tent while the separate vent cover protects open vents from snow and rain. For all season use, the outer tent walls extent to the ground, mesh areas are backed with adjustable fabric panels and the high bathtub floor keeps out ground water. Full no-see-um mesh on inner tent door is covered by a zipper adjustable fabric panel for all-season comfort and four integrated stowage pockets helps to keep you organised.
Guyline attachments on the poles are designed to wrap around the pole or pole crossing points for load baring and additional loops on the vent cover and side help to increase stability in poor conditions.
The Kerlon 1800 flysheet is a 40D high tenacity ripstop nylon 66 fabric; with a tear strength of 18kg, it offers the ideal balance of great strength and light weight.
For when you want to pitch this tents inner by itself in warmer climates. You can purchase an additional Pole Holder Set which include pole holders that are designed to attached to the corners of the inner, allowing you to pitching this tent without the flysheet.
