Cotopaxi: Gear for Good
Our newest brand, take a look at what makes this ethical, colourful outdoor gear maker from across the pond adds to our outdoor selection.
New outdoor gear! We’re very excited to now have some awesome and bright bags, fleeces and insulated jackets from the brand with a llama for a logo, Cotopaxi. Named after an active stratovolcano in the Ecuadorian region of the Andes, it’s bright location and the vibrant cultures surrounding it are what help inspire Cotopaxi’s designs, ethos and creed: DO GOOD. As a certified B Corporation, Cotopaxi put 1% of their revenue toward addressing poverty and supporting community development. Through their grant program, they promote organizations successfully improving the human condition. To date, they’ve awarded 42 grants in six focus countries around the world.

What can you expect from Cotopaxi?
As you can see from the line up, Cotopaxi is bright flash of colours and fun. There products are incredibly distinct and can be spotted up crags all over the world from a good distance. It certainly makes a great change from a lot of the more muted colour ranges from many other brands.
So they have a great distinctive look, but do they have quality materials to back that up? Absolutely! Like any good outdoor gear maker, Cotopaxi know that quality kit should be built to perform highly and last a long time through some strenuous activity and harsh conditions. Many items in their range use fully recycled fabrics and the down used to in their insulated jackets is of course RDS certified to coincide with their strict ethical practices which prioritise sustainability and treating animals properly. To sum up, durability, sustainability and high performance are what goes into every Cotopaxi design.

The Tasra pack is one of several items we carry in Cotopaxi’s innovative Deli Dia range.
Del Dia - One of a kind packs and accessories
If your looking for more colour and more fun, look no further than Cotopaxi’s Del Dia range. Each Del Dia product is made proudly in the Philippines by an employee who has total creative control over the pack’s colourway. No two are the same! The Del Dia collection is made almost entirely using off cuts of other products so some can be truly random, this way nothing is wasted and all material can be used.
Tune in soon as we have Cotopaxi reviews, articles, and maybe if your lucky, a competition with Cotopaxi products up for grabs!
