The Montane Men’s Terra Pant
Montane likes to keep things up to date and their flagship trouser is no exception. Though the relaxed fit, perfect for hill and mountain use remains the same, this legwear boasts terrific features for changeable environments. As labelled we have a tough, quick-drying TACTEL cotton–free nylon. Quick-drying and ultra-tough this a is great base material to build a trouser around. CORDURA reinforcements on the knees, ankles, and rear provide extra durability on the most commonly stressed areas. All fabric is finished with a PFC-free DWR for more environmentally friendly, durable water resistance. For extra comfort and temperature regulation during hard activity, the trousers feature a zip up fully meshed thigh vents, great for getting cooler air in where you need it. The ankles feature a zip and press stud ankle adjustment great for properly locking in your boots.
Not labelled, all zips on the trousers are YKK including the hand pockets and rear, meaning high quality and smooth performance. The inner waistband is elasticated and fleece-lined for comfort. Also concealed within, Montane has placed a card pocket for keeping essentials such as cash and credit cards.
Different varieties of the Terra pant are available including the Terra Stretch option which utilise a stretchable fabric to prioritise truly optimal movement as well as the Terra Mission Pant which utilises an ultra-tough Thermal Nylon to help create the ultimate winter walking and mountaineering trouser.
