This Vango Calisto 600 steel-poled tent has plenty to offer with plenty of useable space due to the more upright pole design and a great feeling of strength especially in windier conditions. Inside the “Lights Out” inner tent keeps the helps reduce daylight, handy for getting the kids off to sleep and better for a lay in the morning!


Feature plenty of windows, internal storage, good ventilation, two full zip entrances and of course a sewn in ground sheet. The inner tents have a detachable bedroom divider and are very quick and easy to set up and provide excellent value and a great option to the many flexible pole tunnel tents.


If your camping trip is heading to the coast then the Calisto could be more stable than some other lesser designs as it uses the Vango TBS system, this is extra tension bands that run internally run from the side of the tent to the roof. You can adjust them in strong winds and this has the effect of tightening the structure and improving stability.

I wanted to upgrade my last Vango tent I bought 10 years ago for the new addition to the family. I took a chance as there was no reviews of this new model. This tent has the following great qualities: - Standing room is excellent - Metal pole structure very sturdy - High quality components (from pegs to zips) - Nice carpet (was extra but worth it) - loads of room inside We had some seriously bad weather the first night, high winds and rain! this tent is tough and hopefully will last as long as my last Vango tent! The only thing i would improve is the assembly instructions, however after the first time it will be very easy the next time! Taunton Leisure delivered my tent next day, customer service there is excellent! thanks! 4th May, 2011
