One of the warmest and most comfortable backpacking and camping mattresses the Thermarest Trail Pro regular mat is also warm, rated with a R value of 4.8.

Thermarest use R values to give a comparison between the thermal properties of their mats and this one is at the warmer end of the spectrum.

Extra comfortable too with a generous 5cm depth of mat and the foam construction cushions really well.

All in all you won't find Thermarest mats at the lower end of the price range for mats but you are buying a quality product with a lifetime guarantee suitable for camping  and backpacking.

two quick questions, does it come with a stuff sack and is the colour the only change with the 2011 version? Thanks Graham

Thanks for your question, yes the Thermarest mat comes with a stuff sack, this is the 2011 version we are selling and Thermarest say that it has been updated for 2011 and refer to the diagonal foam cut outs of the mat being improved.
