HEAL CRADLE™

The North Face® Heal Cradle™ consists of a polyurethane (PU) foundation with five pegs protruding vertically from it. A soft EVA panel is placed over the pegs, locking the two together like building blocks. The top layer of soft EVA has a slightly cupped shape that literally cradles the heel, helping to stabilize it in the process. It also works with the underlying PU to absorb impact. Lastly, it offers more lateral/medial stability, positioning the foot for a smooth transition into the next stage of the stride cycle.

This new breed of TNF multi surface shoe is a good follow up to the Hedgehog II which are still around on the market today so having to compete with its more handsome brother, TNF have done pretty damn good, They are comfy fit well have great soles for all types of terrain and look the part and for less than 3 figures i would say fantastic value for money and i feel confident they will see out the next 12 months no probs. I have given these shoes 4 valued stars as nothings ever perfect and my review leaves some even greater room for improvement from one of the trusted leaders in outdoor wear........thumbs up 12th Oct, 2011

I am on my third pair of hedge hog shoes, I wear them everyday and probably give them heavy use compared with what they are designed for. However I keep coming bakc to north face because of the fit and style suits me. Apart from just wearing the sole out nothing to report. 4th Oct, 2011
