Stylish enough for city streets and warm enough for ski resorts, The North Face Girls’ Metropolis Parka is a classic winter coat.

This chunky parka is constructed with a water-resistant tough nylon body and stuffed with 550 fill down insulation for snug protection against the cold, and its hood and long cut means the warmth extends from head to knee. That hood is removable for greater flexibility, while the coat’s extra features include snap and zippered front closures, generous zippered pockets and a stash spot inside, and brushed linings on the collar, cuffs and chin guard for a soft feel against the skin.

6. INSEAM TO FLOOR:
Measure the distance from the crotch point to the floor.
