The North Face have a proven name in tents and this Big Fat Frog is a familar design that serves the backpacker and adventurous camper superbly.

Based on the successful Tadpole design, this tent offers generous space for two. The huge extended porch is ideal for storing gear, or for cooking in poor weather.

Easy to pitch with a colour coded system, overhead storage, bathtub floor, and all seams are fully taped for added water protection.

This tent has plenty to offer for backpacking and general camping.

Hi I would like to use this for cycle touring. Do you know the max length of the folded poles? ie will it fit split in two in a pannier Thanks

Thanks for your question, the length of the poles are 53cm, the tent , outer, inner and poles all spilt up for packing. As the poles come in a stuff sack you could always bungy them to the top of the pannier rack maybe?

One alternative, in a similar design, that packs much smaller is the Mountain Equipment Dragonfly XT tent http://www.tauntonleisure.com/mountain-equipment-dragonfly-2xt-tent-2011/p1126. Poles for that measure at 35cm. It's more expensive but higher spec with silicone flysheet and is much more compact
