"Taunton Leisure were really excited when we heard about the project to build a large indoor climbing centre in the heart of Exeter, and even more delighted when we agreed a partnership deal to help support the wall over the coming years.

Our Exeter store has always attracted climbers as staff members, due to our wide selection of climbing and quality outdoor equipment, and they have been instrumental in developing a relationship with the Quay Climbing Centre from the outset. We all very much look forward to working with everyone at the Quay over the coming months and helping to promote the sport of indoor climbing."

About the Quay Climbing Centre banner

The Quay is the largest dedicated indoor climbing wall in the South West, with plenty to suit everyone of any age or level of experience.

Offering over 200 climbing lines, walls ranging from 7-14 metres, 2 bouldering caves, 2 training walls, a teaching zone and an abseil tower, there really is something for everyone.

Plus, taster sessions, parties, courses and more...
  • If you are new to the sport why not sign up for a Taster Session. This hour long session is led by one of their instructors and will introduce you to the basics
  • The Quay will be running a range of courses from introductory to step up to lead courses, and more
  • Why not hold your birthday party at the Quay?  Have fun with your friends on the wall then continue your celebration in the party room and enjoy pizzas or a cold buffet
