Tunnel Vision Grand CV LWC-MX

The 2008 Eureka! Tunnel Vision Grand CV just happens to be the model of choice for the Company Director's summer holiday in France last year. The following text explains the reasons for his decision and at the same time hopefully helping you with yours.

"I wanted a tent to go touring, yet spacious enough to use in one place for a while. I wanted something relatively small to pack, quick and easy for one person to pitch and take down, would easily sleep four people in comfort (on large double airbeds) and plenty of stand up height throughout. I also wanted plenty of inner space for tables and chairs to sit around and to be well vented and able to take on the hot weather further south and take on the mistral winds on the coast"

Yes this is a rather tall order but the tent genuinely fulfilled all that I asked of it. It even managed to impress my wife who viewed camping a bit like a bush tucker trial! As with all the Eureka! range there is excellent attention to detail from storage pockets to four doorway options, mosquito netting anywhere you could wish for, curtains, windows, closing vents and mudwalling throughout.

There's a clever combination of Teflon lightweight cotton in the main body and side panels and PU coated poly-cotton in the roof. Cotton offers the most comfortable environment in warmer conditions as the fabric naturally breathes and in the rain the cotton swells to prevent water passing through with the added protection of the PU coated roof panel.

I opted for the additional front porch and bathtub groundsheet footprint, which clips in neatly and has a raised edge of approximately 6cm. Both these options can be left attached when pitching and taking down but are also easily removed. As you can tell this tent impressed me and I hope this information helps you make your choice".
