New for 2008, the Terra Nova Superlite Solar 2.2 is a simple two pole construction tent with plenty to offer the weight conscious backpacker, without sacrificing space or creature comforts.
Its minimum* weight is a remarkable 1.85kg, which is easily achievable for one person if required. Two porches allow plenty of storage and a food preparation area, plus easy access/exit for each occupant that's rare in a tent of this weight.
Lightweight DAC alloy poles and titanium pegs all help keep the weight down without sacrificing strength. It's easy to see why this tent was previously a test winner in outdoor magazines.
