Steripen Classic System is an all-in-one drinking water treatment system that includes the Steripen and Water Bottle Pre-Filter packaged in a wide-mouth water bottle. This system is all that is needed for treating drinking water while camping, hiking, backpacking or travelling.
The only portable water purifier that uses ultraviolet (UV) light to destroy waterborne viruses, bacteria and protozoa to give you safe drinking water anywhere, whether camping, hiking, backpacking or travelling. It will purify 32oz. of clear water in a minute and a half!
Using 4 x AA batteries (not included), it will provide approximately 140 uses with Lithium batteries, and approximately 160 uses with NiMH batteries (based on 16oz water. NiMH batteries are recommended for cold weather use).
