Since Wild Country introduced 12mm Dyneema slings to the climbing world in 1999 it seems that familiarity has bred content. From an initial astonishment that something so thin could be so strong the climbing world embraced the 12mm dyneema as the standard for slings and quickdraws, once again evolution has taken place and now 10mm dyneema is the future for climbing. Weighing in at a ludicrous 11g per metre but still making 22kn (3 sigma rated) its obvious we are looking at the next generation. The very best webbing is chosen to which Wild Country apply the most appropriate CNC controlled stitching patterns to maximise strength, this allows them to give all their slings an S3 rating. A selection of slings is a must for any climber's rack ideal for rigging belays or threaded placements.
