Developed specifically for technical mountain climbs, the Grivel Alp Wing Hammer has a hot forged head with shaft that permits good clearance to overcome bulges without levering the pick out of the ice. The lower part of the shaft is relatively straight to easily penetrate hard snow. Weighs less than 700g.
