The Petzl Tikka XP2 headlamp integrates two light sources as well as a wide angle lens with simple open-close feature allowing you to choose between a long distance focused beam and flood beam proximity lighting.

Equipped with a white high-output LED, and a red LED that preserves night vision or increases safety in blinking mode (in an urban environment for example).

The white LED delivers 80 lumens in maximum mode and lights up to 60 metres, while in economic mode it can achieve a run-time of up to 160 hours.

At twice the price of my old Petzl Tikka, I hoped for great things - I wasn't disappointed. This headlamp is extremely bright on the maximum mode and ample on the economy - especially if you're a bit afraid of the dark like me! It's really easy to switch between the modes with the chunky button and the easy to slide diffuser. The red LED is super at preserving my night vision and the battery life actually lives up to the promises made by the company. The headband is really comfy and the colours mean it doesn't show the dirt. All in all the Petzl Tikka XP2 is one of my favourite bits of my camping kit. 2nd Mar, 2011
