The Outwell Contour XL Sleeping Bag is a rectangular sleeping bag that features a two separate zip system enabling a left and right bag to be zipped together, and still have optimal foot air circulation as well as the possibility of using the bag as a blanket.

The bag has a built-in pillow for comfort (whih can be zipped off) – using Isofill filling throughout for maximum warmth along with polycotton lining and a brushed flannel pillow area for that luxury feel. There is a full length zip baffle and easy glide zip system. 

The Contour bag is made using an off-set 2-layer construction to minimize cold spots and provide temperature ratings between +20°C down to -9°C.

The shape and design is ideal for use in the home, caravanning, and of course on the campsite.

Tmax: Upper limit of comfort range. The temperature up to which a partially uncovered sleeping bag user (standard man) does not perspire too much.

Tcomfort: Lower limit of the comfort range down to which a sleeping bag user with a relaxed posture such as lying on the back is just not feeling cold (related to standard woman and in standard condition of use).

Tlimit: Lower limit of which a sleeping bag user with curled-up body posture is just not feeling cold (related to standard man and in standard condition of use).

Textreme: Lower extreme temperature where the risk of health damage from hypothermia occurs (related to standard woman and in standard conditions of use).
