The Osprey Women's Ariel 65 is a women's specific backpack that's an ideal size for a variety of backpacking adventures. 

With added features like J- Panel access, Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole attachment and an improved suspension technology, this backpack remains the number 1 choice for adventurers of all calibers.

A superb women's custom fit is achieved through torso specific sizing, and contoured women's harness and hipbelt.

Osprey Women's Ariel 65 details

Other Features Include

  • AddOn compatible - attache a Daylite pack using the built-in cord loops
  • Convertible top pocket - which can quickly be converted into a lumbar pack with a built-in hipbelt
  • Hydration compatible -  a backpanel sleeve with hanger holds 3-litre and smaller hydration reservoirs (with slots on either side of the pack, for the reservoir hose to pass through)
  • InsideOut compression - the compression strap on the side woven pocket can be routed externally or internally to secure your gear
  • J-Panel access - provides quick access to your packed gear
  • Red internal compression strap - when loading your pack, move the strap out of the way. When the pack is loaded, clip the male / female buckles together and tighten the strap until the load is secure
  • Removble sleeping mat straps
  • Tool attachment - dual ice axe loops and bungee tool tie-offs
  • Stow-On-The-Go trekking pole attachment
  • StraightJacket compression - 3 horizontal compression straps
  • LightWire alloy peripheral frame with ribbed foam, grip mesh backpanel
  • Adjustable spacer mesh IsoForm harness
  • IsoFormCM hipbelt with ErgoPull closure (heat mouldable foam hipbelt  using in-store ovens for a truly custom fit)

I was bought this bag to take part in the ten tor challenge on Dartmoor. I have done most of the training with bag and I'm amazing how comfortable it is. I carry the whole tent, sleeping bag and my roll mat and am amazed how compact the bag is. There are so many compression straps this bag when fully packed is evenly weighted.

The easy access pocket on the front of the bag is perfect for temporarily putting a coat or your waterproof trousers in while walking. I top pocket is also great for food, maps and compasses! The hydration pack that I also bought is another great investment, it fits into my back perfectly and is amazing for long walks.

All in all a great bag that is well worth its money!
