The Bantu 4 Air has a living area with a zip-out dividing curtain to create one or two separate living areas, especially handy when the children have gone to bed.

With a full zip in floor for comfort and full protection from the elements.

Large windows provide plenty of light and have privacy curtains; the doors can be rolled up, and the side doors each have a separate mesh door. This tent oozes quality, luxury and space, and is destined to provide years of family camping fun

The Bantu 4 Air is identical in design and shape to the highly successful Bantu 6, with slightly smaller dimensions over all. It comfortably accommodates 4 in one large sleeping compartment, with a divider in the middle.

Technical Cotton

After years of research and testing, Nomad have opted for Technical Cotton (65% polyester, 35% cotton) as the main fabric for the range of Family Travel tents. This choice typifies Nomad's approach to equipment design: by combining the best attributes of natural materials and modern technology, it really is possible to have the best of both worlds.

Using Technical Cotton as the base fabric, they have developed Non-Coated (Air) fabric.

  • 100% waterproof: the fabric keeps rain out while allowing the inner tent to breathe.
  • Durable: the long-lasting fabric resists UV radiation damage caused by sunlight.
  • Comfortable: the tents are high and spacious, and have a low weight and small packed volume.

Dac poles

DAC is widely regarded as the top brand in aluminium poles. They offer a maximum strength-to-weight ratio, are long lasting, and are made to withstand heavy snow loads or strong winds. used extensively in Nomad tents

i have a bantu 4 nomad tent i bought from you just over a year ago -which is fab- i am putting it away for the winter and wanted to use some waterproofing spray. what should i use and how often is this necessary? thanks

Hi

I suggest Fabsil to waterproof your tent.

Also it is best to allow for the tent to be fully dry before packing away or the waterproofing will stick together. Therefore maybe treat it early next season ready to be used.

Due to different weather conditions, time exposed to them, and fabric of the tent it is impossible to put an exact time for treating.

However we suggest as a guide for a tent to be treated once for every 4-5 weeks of use

Hope this is of help
