Hello, I have two questions: 1) Does this coat have a two-way zip, so that it could be opened from the bottom as well as the top? 2) Does it have any ventilation zips/openings? Many thanks, Julia

1. Yes, the Merrell Wakefield (Womens) - Black has a two-way zip.

And,

2. No, the jacket has not got ventilation zips/openings.

is this a padded coat if so what level of warmth.

 

The Merrell Wakefield is a thinner coat not offering a huge amount in terms of warmth. An insulated coat such as the Merrell Haven would give more warmth.

I have various reviews about the sizing of this jacket. Some suggesting the it is a large fit others that it is a snug fit. I am 5ft 3in and 52kg (about 104lb). Should I go for the xs or sm. I won't be waring a lot of heavy clothing underneath. Regards Lyn

Does the coat have a hidden hood?

Thanks for your question, the Wakefield hood is not hidded, it's removable though with poppers etc and has a peak for better protection from the rain.
