The Menidl Men's Vakuum GTX is a hill walking and trekking boot of the highest standard. It uses MFS Vakuum technology from Meindl, and a stretch GORE-TEX® lining for breathable waterproof protection. Utilising the memory foam system throughout the boot and also on the footbed ensures great comfort and a fully customised fit.

The boot has a lightweight Vibram® sole unit with a deep tread for great support and grip. In the words of Trail magazine, the Vakuum GTX is "a superb new boot for hill and mountain walking with enhanced comfort and quality performance".

After lots of problems with Brasher and their service i switched to these boots. After a few walks they began to feel exceptionally comfortable. I used these on a 6 week expedition climbing 3 mountains and they cannot be faulted at all.

I was dubious to change makes from my Mammot boot to this one as my last pair had served me so well. However, the fit was good and I was informed that this was a quality make and product. I was not disappointed. The boots are sturdy, provide good grip and excellent for all types of walking conditions. Even in warmer weathers these boots perform well because they are breathable. The staff @ taunton leisure are so knowledgeable and genuine in their support. They'd rather I spent less money and had a better fitting product, than simply advise the most expensive. The miendl vakuum is a brilliant boot. Comfortable, hard wearing and even good looking. The memory foam inner and super soft higher ankle support make these boots a pleasure to wear. I'd recommend them to anyone, especially those with wide feet.

what a great pair of walking boots, really tough! waterproof used in rocky mountain and snow even! and slipper comfy never had a hotspot in them! very supportive and lighweight! buy them they are quallity 11th Mar, 2011

Bought the same ones in same size as the last were so good, lasted 3 years of daily use with the dog and on the moor. meindl cost more but if they fit are worht it 8th Feb, 2011
