Tried seveal pairs of different boots on in the shop and when I put these on it was like buying a house ..the moment I stepped in I knew they were right. These boots are so so comfortable I bought them on the Saturday and went up Snowdon on the Monday the only problem was when I got back to the car and had to put my traners on to drive. They will be going up Kilimanjaro in January..or should I say as far as I can go up Kilimanjaro. Highly recommended 5 star only because there is'nt 6 stars!!! 10th Oct, 2011

The title says it all really, excellent solid boot, I use this or my mountain rescue work as well as leisure, they are superbly comfortable straight out of the box for me. This is the second pair I have bought. They are and excellent boot but can be warm in summer

These walking boots from meindl are without doubt the most comfortable and supportive I have ever had. It was like wearing a pair of slippers. The first time I used them was for a hike of over 5 miles across Dartmoor and there was not even a hint of a blister. The Half sizes give an accurate and firm fit so there is no slipping around in the boot. I can only endorse them to anyone thinking of buying new walking boots. have had these boots 2 yrs plus now and can say they are the most comfortable footwear i've bought, wether strolling in the park or trekking in the lake district in january my feet are warm and dry, excellent support throughout good grippy sole and not to bulky or stiff for scrambleing up boulders, first class. 12th Nov, 2010
