All Grivel slings and quickdraws are made of Dyneema. They sew them in Italy, using new hi-tech programmable bar-tacking machines. Therefore they can guarantee the quality of the job and reduce the risk of human error.
Grivel uses Dyneema as a logical consequence of the attention as they give to the minimum weight of our carabiners: a  super light carabiner requires a super light sling!

When I opened the parcel I was impressed straight away by the quality looks of this quickdraw. The look and feel of them is very 'Alpine' and a bit different from the run-of-the-mill offerings. The finish on the carabiners is matt and the mixture of gold and black looks very classy and professional. One carabiner is held firmly by the link which makes use easy and fast. By far the most impressive thing is the weight. Very very light. A big advantage when carrying a good few on a big climb. The wire gate action is flawless and fast. I bought a few of these to try out, and will certainly be placing an order for more, as I think they are really good.
