A class leading screw from Grivel, the 360 Ice Screw has a handle that folds neatly away for carrying but then rotates out for placement.

This gives easier and quicker placement as greater torque can be applied ideal when working in restrictive positions. High quality steel The tube inner has a smooth finish to prevent clogging.

Good length screw for fat ice, the handle and screw design makes placing these a doddle, just not quite so good if you are trying to place in a restricted space due to the handle length. Ideal for constructing abolakovs. Racking them requires some thought, the pan pipe system is well worth it if you are carrying a number of these. You can also get them sharpened in the UK by machine should they require it. Overall a good choice of screw for steep icefall climbing. 12th Feb, 2011
